The posted examination statistics stated that the correlation coefficient between homework average and exam 1 is about 0.4231, which the highest score obtained was 146 (2 people), which the mean is 123.91 (out of 150). Standard distribution is 11.45. Despite taking other OMSCS courses and acquiring knowledge from them, I feel that CS7643 did not contribute significantly to my learning. Some OMSCS central reviews suggest that earning an A might be achievable with just 60% credit from the quiz, which seems to indicate that success in the quiz is just a coin tossing game.

It also now has a full-time course number of CS-7639-O01. I took this class in Fall 2018, my fourth in the program, and it was my favorite class thus far. Both IIS and DBS are pretty fundamental CS subjects. Both have large textbooks and require substantial reading (nearly the entire book). The lectures provide context and overview of material, so there is some repetition. The courses have good projects and difficult exams. These courses attract students that complain. OMS Central is back up . I'm the new maintainer for OMS Central. I did a re-write over the last week or so with an emphasis on saving database bandwidth.
