My only guess is that if we do not open the fridge for a very long time, it eventually gets cold enough to freeze but if regular use resumes, the temperature cannot be maintained. Note: If you are having difficulty getting the ice bucket seated properly, rotate the ice bucket fork a 1/4 turn clockwise and try again. Allow time for the icemaker to cycle again and make ice cubes. Select CRUSHED ICE and then CUBED ICE. Try the dispenser again.
